My house is protected from mummy’s too. Anything that dangles is fair game to my cat. Yup I’m safe if I’m ever invaded by string, paper, feathers, or little foam balls. The dog will protect me from little stuffed animals and small tennis balls. Anything bigger and I’m screwed.
Does anybody remember the old children’s book, “Monster Holidays” by Norman Bridwell? Children had “pets” of monsters, like the Mummy, the Werewolf, the Vampire, and the Monster. For some odd reason, today’s “Lio” reminded me of the Mummy chapters of that book!

The mummy’s curse… of cats (and to think ancient Egyptians worshipped those animals).

Isn’t the mummy’s curse depicted by that little puff in the last panel?
