I managed to get 1/2 of a silicone earplug logged in my ear when the little plastic handle broke off. After several friends tried to extract it with tweezers and such, I was forced to go to the doctor. They sent me a bill for $180 for the 3 minutes the doctor saw me to yank it out with a large forceps. I sent them a check for $30 and a note that I felt that was more than enough for the service rendered.
