Val: There they are!
Gramma Evie: Welcome home!
Wally: How's my big guy?!
Joan: Were they a lot of bother?
Val: No! We all had a great time!
Joan: Oh, how you lie.
Val: I know you'd do the same for me.
What is Val hinting at? That she may give Joan the opportunity to do the same for her? Watch Holly and Alix while she goes somewhere? With Phil perhaps?

I love how Wally relates to Max. Wally has really embraced the fact that, biological or not, he is Max’s dad.
