@Night-Gaunt49 “fabled ‘suger rush’” indeed! You may recall in more detail than I do the news a few years ago that the “studies” done several decades back did not at all show that sugar caused hyperactivity in children. The proponents of that notion, though, were so determined to impose their concept on everyone that they aggressively put out false news releases, and that’s where the concept of the “sugar rush” originated. When this was exposed, in recent years, the news was largely ignored. Quite the modern-day “old wives’ tale.”

Sugar has always had an effect on me. Not sure about the rush so much. I tend to have manic moments no matter what I eat, but I certainly do have that crash. The more I have, the worse it is. Which is why I monitor my diet very closely now. There’s very little sugar in my diet, and I don’t buy any processed foods at all.

Ashburn, Michigan’s two great laws: No school before Labor Day, (It saved the UP’s economy big time..) and the bottle law…..You will not find a beer can anywhere in Michigan unless you get up very early at a huge party,,,….Laws that work really impress me…

Frazz ought to remind the kid that he’s a child and Frazz is an adult, and a child calling an adult who is not his older sibling “cocky” is out of line.
