Good morning, Vagabonds. Yesterday, I took my blind friend to the bus stop so he could return to Baltimore. We left my home early but after going 2 subway stations, the train stopped as there was an electrical problem a few stations away. So we finally reached the Yankee Stadium station and got on a different train route that was packed with everyone from our train rout. We really had to squeeze in. Then I mentally figured out an alternate route and we got to the bus stop just in time. Several hours later, my friend called me that he got home in one piece.
Morning, Village.Great idea, Arye. We all need to plan more days like that. Unfortunately, I still have a ton of stuff to do at the house to get it ready for the carpet layers next week.
Hi ya Vagabonds..Yet another sunny day, no rain for the first week of may.Rain however may begin tomorrow evening. ..X.Yesterday’s question Name some of Roy Roger’s side kicks.Jan correctly identified Andy Devine.There was also George “Gabby” Hayes, Gabby also appeared with John Wayne in some movies.And Pat Brady, one of the Son’s of the Pioneers, became Roy’s side kick in “The Roy Rogers Show” with his Jeep Nellybelle.You can see the “Roy Rogers Show” on RFD-TV saturday or Sunday. Same show both days..Hope I got some good memories going for all you happy people..ttfn
