At least that body-length tin can will keep that ham fresh.

Yea, back then you couldn’t even hit a cop with your car. Today it’s politicly incorrect to arrest an illegal immigrant with a bomb and a bazooka carrying a back pack full of meth.

I love this…. Jeff wins yet again.

I hope your armour doesn’t go rusty after being in that cell for a long time, Mutt.

    LOL xxx

The recent ice storm in Ontario wiped out our power, phones and internet. We did not get back on line until late yesterday, and I am busy today catching up on all the news. I was very saddened to hear of the passing of our WWII marine veteran. I was a very young boy during those terrible days of that war, and could not understand why there was such a thing as war and what it was all about. Most of our toys were war related such as soldiers and jeeps and tanks. My family used to refer to the fight against “the jerries” which puzzled me no end as I had an Uncle Jerry in the Canadian army, and wondered why they were fighting him.

In the decades following that terrible war, I learned why it had happened and what the significance of it was. I salute all the members of that greatest generation that fought so bravely to secure our freedom, especially whenever I hear of the passing of one I knew, even if it was only on the pages of a comic strip site. Thank you WWII marine veteran and all those who have passed before you. We owe a great debt of gratitude to you and to those still with us who daily remind us of “why”.
