@ OMM – I’ll second that. I agree with DJB and gallianst too. Listen up Jim, you can do better and all the fans of this strip know it.

I think that Jim does these two goofs so that he is not required to draw “age”. While he is a competent illustrator he is challenged with indicating age (which GA is rife with), that is why even Slim and Clovia who are in their sixties are so often appear to be in their thirties.

Let’s see stories about the Wallet family, and cut out the dumb jokes about hillbillies.

The Joel and Rufus feature has been going on now steadily since January 25th over two months. I can’t remember when a story arc went on so long in GA. While I still read GA I have become upset what appears to be contempt towards the fans.

The reason for any unemployment (people who want to work but can’t get a job) at all is minimum wage laws. Before those, lack of skills meant a very low wage job. Low wage jobs are how you get experience.
