I know a guy who has the perfect winter bbq set up. He owns a house that used to belong to a guy who restored old cars as a hobby; it came equipped with a paint shed that sports two industrial-strength ventilation fans.

Which are also great for evacuating barbecue smoke in the winter

When I lived in MA and we had snowstorms, I always made sure to clear a path to my grill. What is the poing of having a grill and NOT being able to use it all year round.

Course in Florida, that is not an issue anymore.

There’ve been several episodes recently where Lio’s dad was active and doing things WITH Lio instead of merely being a passive observer of Lio’s cute weirdness. I like this trend.

This completely reminds me of my brother. He has sent pictures of grilling in WI in a snowstorm.

And the best part: no bugs!

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa….let me get this straight. They are purposely hiking in the midst of a blizzard IN ORDER TO dine al fresco in sub zero weather? Is the Dad on a bender again? Did they turn off the gas and electric at the house because he can’t pay his bills because he’s unemployed and spends all his dough on booze and funding Lio’s daily extravagances? This is one messed up family. And another thing, I’d expect Lio to be a vegetarian and I’m concerned that he’s not.

Someone ^see above^ is waaaayyyy over thinking stuff. LOL

We grill all year round here in WI too. Viva the hearty souls that withstand all cold for the joy of charred meat!!

During the strips just before Christmas, we saw one where Lio brought some flowers to mom’s grave.
