It MUST have been on sale.Burl is a polyester kind of guy….but Joy found a cashmere sweater on clearance.
He probably wore it, and spilled chili on it, and she realised she couldn’t throw it in the washer and dryer.
BUT… much as I dislike the Pennys (like every normal person here)…I have to say…I would want to zing that sales clerk too.
I’ve spent years in retail… met every kind of jerk and abuser of the system and my good will….
But you don’t say something like that to a customer.Not even Burl.Not even if you have to momentarily turn your back and stuff your fist in your mouth.And I’ve been there.
I dont know if I’ll be able to send a message again, everytime I try to get in to post a message my computer locks up, I hope I fixed it! If not, I[’m thinking about you all.
Now Burt’s dilemma, What was Joy thinking buying him a cashmere sweater? Where was he supposed to wear it? I doubt the other scarfers at the all you can eat place could recognize cashmere from polyester. Anyway, I’ve found cashmere sweaters to be smaller than their “other” counterparts, so she probably needed to buy an xxxxxxxxxxlarge!
Even staying in Chicagoland this Ded-Jan, I don’t care for cashmere. I enjoy the heavier turtlenecks from WinterSilks, tho’. I also enjoyed my coat (which I wore in his back yard the day after his older daughter’s wedding -here his younger daughter threw it on with headpiece).

You can see I’ll never be totally vegan ;-D and that IS an Alaskan fox piece with the bouquet.
