Frazz: It's a bicycle race in Italy where they ride 185 miles to have their picture taken on the same quater-mile curve every year. Girl: You and spectator sports have a strange relationship. Frazz: I cannot wait to ignore it and go for a ride and read about it later.

Italy IS big on Tradition. Fortunately this one is fairly harmless.
(unless you ‘lose it’ on the curve, and you’re in front!)

I was fortunate enough to witness a leg of the Tour de France this past summer. An amazing spectacle!

I like the way Frazz thinks. Better to get out and enjoy a ride of your own than to sit on the couch and watch a mass ride on TV.

March and April is a great time of year for bike racing fans. The spring classics, and four monuments. The biggest one-day races (Flanders and Paris-Roubaix). I do what Frazz does – ride, come home, do not go to any cycling websites, and then watch it on Tivo.
