Catchy lyrics (a bit repetitive though); but I don’t remember it being a big hit for The Who.So why would anyone (even The Zombies … on second thought, not the band — actual Zombies) want to bring it back?

And Coke Classic isn’t. The whole Coke 2 “fiasco” was a way to change the formula without making it too obvious.
