Not necessarily. The 1st time I went to college I took the bus and only had 1 part-time job. Grants took care of everything except my books.

Most places, a bicycle will do just as well and leaves more money for next semester.

I was able to pay it all on my own in the 60’s- my summer job and OSAP.
