Wow, really quiet tonight. Along the same line as the strip, why can women wear clothing that is suitable for hot weather but still formal while men have to wear jacket and tie if not a full suit for a formal occasion? It was hot in Toronto yesterday! My wife and daughters were comfortable but I was melting – at least until it cooled off in the evening.
The formal occasion – a reception to help my uncle, who is still a practicing physician, celebrate his 100th birthday. An awesome man! It was fantastic listening to speakers from all walks of life – from actors to politicians – who told things about him that I did not know. Even got to spend time talking with my cousins whom I have not seen in years – in once case, decades. Of course we all had a great time (In spite of how hot I was).
