Photographs are easier to take care of, although not as fun as actual grandchildren. It seems a bit narcissistic though to take so many pictures of yourselves and then give them to your mother who lives nearby.

I agree lightenup, photographs are definitely easier to take care of but less fun than grandchildren. Of course a photograph won’t ruin grandma’s carpet or break anything valuable.
