I get the opposite reaction with my phone. It’s a Samsung Galaxy Mega. Whenever I show someone a picture on it, they tend to ignore the picture and say, “Man! That phone is HUGE!”
I can’t imagine trying to show someone a picture on a 1" screen. Ridiculous! My iphone 6 screen is perfect for me at 4.7". I have big hands so I can hold it comfortably, and the screen is a great size for seeing everything without squinting or feeling like I’m holding a small tablet.

It is really annoying when you need extra eyes to see small things (normally called reading glasses) and I don’t have them with me when someone tries to show me a picture on the phone. I usually make the right noises as if I could see something other than a tiny blur of colour. Much prefer looking a pictures on my 40" 4k computer monitor. I don’t even need the extra eyes for that.
