Actually, that’s impossible, Irving. You wouldn’t even have your W-2 until the end of January or thereabouts, so the earliest you could possibly e-file would be January 31.

And Cathy, it’s not his fault that you’re so disorganized that you wait until the last minute to get everything together, thereby driving your accountant crazy every year!

How in the world did he get all of his documentation that early? I didn’t even have everything I needed to file until the second week of February. They aren’t obligated to mail anything until the last day of January, and in my personal experience, the people who supply you with the paperwork you need wait until the very last second to do so. I always do my taxes the very moment I have everything I need, and the earliest I have ever managed to file is February 2.

I knew it was coming. It built in the first four main panels. Then the [eye-roll] hit in panel 5, with all the disorganization.

But, then Irving’s doozy about filing so early took the first alleged [eye-roll] to the next level. AACK. Like others, though, I wonder how he could file so early.

HI, MOM. Happy Sunday, “Cathy” Clan.

I was able to file January 31st but didn’t get my refund until March because I had to go to the irs office to verify my identity and then direct deposit was rejected so I had to wait for a check. Glad I’m done til next year.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy April Fool’s Day! :-)

Can you file that early if you are self-employed…you don’t need to wait for the forms…just wondering. Is Irving a little OCD about taxes?
