While I expect the mothers to most likely cry, why would the bridesmaids cry? Because they realized they just wasted a bunch of money on hideous dresses? ;-)I didn’t cry at my wedding; I was too nervous and excited!.Hello Cathy friends! Can’t believe January is almost over…

I cried and all my bridesmaids cried while we were getting dressed because immediately after the wedding I moved 800 miles away.

For the record, at our wedding just as the final bars of “Bridal Chorus” sounded from the church organ, my mother-in-law (she’s 87 now — she escorted my bride down the aisle) came right up to me and sobbed, “She’s all yours, Richard. Please take good care of my baby”. I instantly replied, “I will, Mom”. She was sobbing again a little more than eleven months later at the birth of our twin sons — she cried, “It’s too bad none of my relatives are alive today to see me become a grandma!”

Never cried at either of my weddings. Don’t really expect to cry at my kids’ weddings either. I just don’t cry unless I’m really upset, so if I AM crying at a wedding, that’s not a good sign!

    Tears of joy, I hope?

Knowing this bunch, I wouldn’t bet on it, but stranger things have happened.

    HI, MOM. Greetings, “Cathy” Clan.
