Irving: I hated dating. I hated all the rules I didn't understand. The "date-y" things I was supposed to say...the "dating milestones" I was supposed to shop for...the constant fear that I was about to walk into another romantic booby trap...I hated being labeled an insensitive bumbler when I didn't do something I didn't know I was supposed to do!! But now we're getting married and I can relax! Relax and know the woman I love and I are on the exact same page! Cathy: Celebrating the 211-day anniversary of our engagement!!! Irving: Aack!! Cathy: He's running out to the car to get my surprise.

Even worse, Irving, the four unpardonable sins AFTER marriage are (1) forgetting your wedding anniversary, (2) forgetting her birthday, (3) forgetting Valentine’s Day, and (4) forgetting pretty much any OTHER significant milestone in your relationship, going all the way back to the first date!

Yeah, the surprise will be that he has left the restaurant and gone home to contemplate how hard it would be to cancel the wedding at this point..Hello Cathy clan! Hope you’re having a relaxing Sunday!

Poor, poor Irving. I’m not one of those women who expect my guy to remember every little thing and I don’t celebrate every silly little thing. Partially because my memory is terrible! Has nothing to do with getting older, it’s always been bad. I remember birthdays and the anniversary of the day we met – I have no idea what day we became an official couple.
Hi Cathy clan!
