My colleague sits 2 feet from me and emails me so the rest of the office can’t hear what she says!!

I would rather have the email than the loud talking everybody else hears and then makes fun of. Then the person monitoring your emails can get a good laugh, I agree that it’s really pathetic, especially when you fight via email.

Sometimes it’s good to just get up and walk. Helps the circulation, and gets you away from the desk. Also, carry a manila folder, and it looks official.
