True .. they never sleep where you want them to.

And … oh no! A strip without Doug OR Sophie. Can’t take that …

What is a little cat nip among friends in the morning.

Mom doesn’t need her coffee now — she’s wide awake!

Chill out everyone especially the seriously creepy “rollsroyce” who is advocating animal abuse.

If that’s all the cats do with the slippers, she should consider herself fortunate.

Bunch of cat haters. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. If you don’t like these cute kittens (which I think improves the strip, I had stopped reading it because I was bored with it) then it’s your turn to stop reading it.

People who do such things as this are lowlife creeps! I sure hope you’re joking!

My friend is awakened most mornings by a cat who nibbles on his ankles. My first thought was, why is your cat under your covers?

Those slippers do look like cosy places to snooze.

All Brian is doing is showing the things cats do as a lead in to joining the fun and troubles the whole bunch will get into together

Go visit the “cat” at Little Dog Lost! Now that’s a REAL feline.

Can’t understand how the kittens can run so fast with their hind feet up in the slippers. But actually funny. Love the whole menagerie.

I thought Brian said once that the cats lived in the barn.Perhaps this is a lead-in to why the kitties move out of the house.

I am just glad he has offered to share his vision and artistry with us.

Really – Hobo and Cheese are just trying to get comfortable in their new home. Sophie will put them in their place soon enough. And nasties like rollsroyce (or rather – junkyard clunker) and annette 143 can pick apart someone else’s strip. Certainly not Brian’s (and Sophie & Doug’s strip).

“telling someone to ‘move on’ sounds kinda rude.”+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Your argument is laughable. Talking about making a “kitty casserole and feed[ing] it to the squirrels” in a forum where the majority of commenters are cat lovers is the perfect example of being rude.

If you were reading a strip in the newspaper, and did not like a new story arc, would you not skip over it to something else?

If you do not like the strip anymore, move on to something that is more to your liking.

On that note, thanks for listening.

On the other… most dog-people that I know deeply dislike cats. I’m an exception— they’re tolerable, in small doses.

But I do feel that they detract from the strip. I want to read about, as you say, Sophie and Doug.

You can’t please everyone unfortunately. I love the kitties and look forward to what ALL the characters will be doing.

I prefer cats over dogs but I would never spew such hate towards dogs. They should all be somebody’s furry friend. I don’t get the hate. :(

I’m a dog person who was happiest with our household when we had 2 dogs and a cat. All 3 are gone now and we have just one great dog. I miss the cat more than I expected.
