    Oh, it’s worse than that. He had an actual real birthday that wasn’t on a holiday. (It was at tax time, which might not be much better.) But his imaginary friends (after ignoring his birthday altogether for 300+ years) changed it to Dec. 25 to hijack an already popular existing festival. The Wise Guys knew the correct date, of course, but they were on Herod’s no-fly list and couldn’t return. We could fix this whole mess by leaving Dec. 25 to Festivus or back to Saturn and moving Christmas to April 15, to get back to the tax-paying theme. And even better, there’s already a bunch of praying going on then.
