Hey Pab, being that I didn’t know about this web site or your strip in ‘06, it’s all new to me. Still great. By the way, what’s Napoleon saying there?

According to freetranslation.com, it works out to “I waste it with my arbalest.” The latter is a catapult, I believe crossbow-based.

Pab, no need for apology. I think that the majority of us have never seen the old ones before, and this one is great.

motivemagus: Yes, Napoleon is saying Bob Hertzog’s famous line, “I WASTE HIM WITH MY CROSSBOW.” Liz is sitting in for Sarah, Henry Tudor for Brian Van Hoose, and for the life of me I can’t remember who I used for Bob. It was so long ago.

KODT was what convinced me that you could conceivably do a comic with mostly cut and paste, which I took to heart creating TNAOQV.

I think that’s Ivan the Terrible as Dave. Given his playing style, it’s a good fit. Great strip, by the way.
