We had a girl in 7th grade math who kept engaging the teacher in almost-relevant discussion and burning up class time. It was fun to watch him struggle to get his class back.

Paige’s anti-intellectualism is tiresome. She needs to take more interest in academia and less in fashion and boys. I blame her home environment; her parents provided no intellectual stimulation when she was small, apparently, & now it is too late, she is going to be a vacuous airhead.
