Actually West Virginia @ 24,229.76 sq. mi. would be a better comparision for us in the U.S.

Are they saying we just don’t have the mental capacity to move our legs that fast?I didn’t know that anyone could swim across the Bering Strait, much less a limbless man. Wow.

Ripley’s….YOU-SAYIN Bolt Ain’t That Fast!?

There are so many things wrong with the internet pages factoid. One is that there are too many variables. It is not enough to say “regular” paper (which is kind of meaningless, anyway), but type size is not even mentioned. The biggest thing wrong with it, however, is what Zyreenesque humorously referred to—very few of the millions of Ripley’s readers can even halfway identify what the “size of Croatia” is.

What font size are we printing? Whats the pixellation on each image?
