Joy could just hide things under her coat…. stuff her pockets, push small baggies into her bra….use Burl’s pockets too…The big bag of popcorn would have to be slipped into her shirt, over her belly.
A few extra lumps and bumps on those bodies would be undetectable.
But just in case they follow my advice….if YOU happen to go to the Odious Theater…. do NOT accept any snacks from Burl or Joy.
And, whilst we’re talking about not eating anything offered by the Pennys—as if!—one should never even sit close to them. (1) gas, and (2) their eating sounds like a wood chipper.
BURL / JOY…. You two must plan ahead… Clamp off one sleve of your jacket and stuff your stuff in the sleve…. Carry your jacket in…. and enjoy the movie…. ! ! !
When my son was a year old, we took him with us to see Close Encounters of the Third Kind(couldn’t get a sitter), we packed cookies in his diaper bag to help if he got bored. He was so enthralled by the lights and sounds, he stayed focused on the movie. I ended up eating the cookies.
We have the Penny’s dream movie theatre: Cinetopia, you can sit in recliners on the balcony and have the servers bring you food, my cousin had a hamburger and fries and my husband had a beer. We watched The Hobbit, and I fell asleep. Awful movie, don’t get me started!
DAZZ saw your comment about being too old to care for that genre, I’m 59 and I still love that stuff! And I didn’t discover the LOTR trilogies until the first one came out and my sons wanted to see it. So each Christmas, the new release and a nice dinner out was what we did. And I was hooked immediately. And I still haven’t read any of J.R.R. Tolkiens books from whence the movies came. And if I do, I will picture each character as I saw them on screen. And that to me is a good thing.
