most comments most times are off the subject of the comic.Anyway I think that most people would just skip on the crackers or bring their own/

I got charged $2.50 for a glass of water last night. I had ordered water so I wouldn’t have to buy a drink.

Not in the business I work for (spray polyurethane foam). I know my boss spends way more on material than he pays his two employees. I don’t know about his taxes.

Ironically where I live its the conservatives that work hard and the liberals that want entitlement and to live off the government. That being said I have travelled and other states and area’s it is the opposite. Some are hard working liberals with mooching conversatives.

My solution, no government money to anyone who isn’t selling or offering a service to the government. No more hand outs of any kind…stop both parties from the money grab.

My employer sends a yearly statement to every single employee that itemizes what they pay to have each of us employed. It is very interesting to see that the company spents more on other things than my wages. The health insurance costs, taxes and other perks equal more than my yearly income.

Since they have to keep take home pay competitive or they won’t be able to retain employees who know what they are doing they have raised prices on their products 5 times in 3 years to keep up with the costs. We just had a huge spike in costs recently they attributed to Obamacare, I have yet to receive an answer as to why that caused anything to go up yet when it hasn’t taken fully effect yet.

I am a proud defender of the Consitution and the individual liberties it provides to us from the Creator.>>I usually pass over your diatribes. I cannot do so this time. The Creator, mine and yours, did not “inspire” anyone to write the Constitution. The Constitution was written by men. Men who were steeped in the writings of John Locke and Voltaire. These men and Thomas Jefferson were athiest. Yes there were others involved who were quite religious but the essentials of the document were based on writings by Godless men. The very first with the right to vote were white, wealthy, male landowners. No women, no renters. Even in the North, free blacks were not allowed to vote. They had no provisions for caring for the handicapped, the poor nor the disabled. Well into the 20th century workers who were injured at work had no recourse, none. They were literally dragged away from the job and someone else put in their place. It was only the successful who could afford doctors. I realize that there were many doctors who worked for chickens and vegetables. The poor could be more self-sustaining because they were allowed gardens, livestock and whatnot inside city limits. Most places have serioud restrictions these days. Even in subdivisions in unincorporated areas there are many restrictions.>>We need to reevaluate our needs in this country. If we are to be concerned about embryos, and that is a good thing, we need to be concerned about the children. I don’tthink God is against helping those with poor skills raise their young. But there is in this country a self-centeredness, especially by the rich, that forgets about the poor, elderly and disabled. And, pulling the rug out from someone dependant on you, is no way to motivate them. If they are lawbreakers, they need locking up. If they are anything besides criminal, they need help.>>This is a poor attempt to say what, I believe, God wants us to do. Before Jesus was crucified he told His followers to love one another as He had loved us.In fact He commanded it.>>I pray that you will pray about this. See if you can look at this in a different light.God bless you.

Not in the least. The use of God and Creator was a compeomise for the many who were quite religous. People haven’t changed much. The percentages are about the same.

I’d say the crackers were made from (hand) stone ground flour and organic sea-salt. Very gourmet.
