You gotta stay on the carpet. What part of “red-carpet welcome” didn’t you understand?On FA carpet: welcome and after-glow. Off FA carpet: utter despair and desolation. That’s why I have some glued to the soles of all my shoes.

The after-glow remains in our heads.

Love the Saul Steinberg (who just died). My grandmother had a book of his comic/commentary art in the 60’s and I remember spending time leafing through it.

I know a joint in Philly where the martinis are so dry that the owner ripped out all the urinals in the restroom and replaced them with dustpans.

Happy Anniversary, FA!! At least, I THINK today is FA anniversary day.

Oh, everyday the frogs are applauding, glows.

Carpet looks like a Thin red Line, but the rest of the comic doesn’t look like Guadalcanal so never mind.Six years? I’d be unhappy about missing some of them but I’ll go with being happy I’m not missing them now.

This is the way of the world. Old is unappreciated; new is idolized. Too bad you’re a year older, FA….

Teresa you seem older than six. My guess would have been eleven.

Teresa, I would like to take a moment to apologize for the fact that I have not been following Frog Applause for the entire six years. All I can say in my defense is that I got started as soon as I learned of its existence.

Sigh; 3:55 EST 12/21/12, and no new Frog Applause. Darn Mayans must have been right, I guess- and I even missed yesterday’s Anniversary party. The apocalypse is here. Here’s to Frog Applause and Frog Blog. May both continue in the afterlife!
