In 1970 I read an anthology of scifi as published by Playboy that had this as a theme as a short story, being that male-female sex was a perversion as opposed to same-sex being the norm.
I remember reading an article 40 years ago, predicting that we would all have devises that fit into our pockets like a calculator, but with which we could not only do calculations but communicate with people around the world and remotely control appliances in our homes…of course, none of that came true. I think it was written by hp, since it was in reverse Polish.
In the early 60’s Anthony Burgess (who wrote “A Clockwork Orange”) wrote a novel about a society where heterosexuals were treated as second class citizens, and one of the gay officers responsible for their rounding up was a closeted straight. I believe it was called “The Wanting Seed,” but I won’t swear to it.
Maybe, The Wanting Seed? There was a story by Cordwainer Smith (pseud) about the effects of the first arrival of men to a planet that had had no natives except women. And one by Frank Herbert (the Dune guy) called The White Plague about a guy who makes a disease that’s fatal only to women. (Hey—Phantasm is on DGBS! Must go)
