Portal?

Sure sounds like it.

I was never too big a fan of Portal. I began gaming with Half-Life, Need for Speed High Stakes and Age of Empires.

The Portable Hole goes back to the Bugs Bunny days. I always loved the concept! (Although the last one was a little too deep!!)

This comic was a triumph. I’m making a note here…

Huge success! It’s hard to overstate my satisfaction.

Looks like Marigold is killing Phoebe…with science! You monster.

Watch out Marigold! THE CAKE IS A LIE!

Never really played Portal, but I do understand the concept. I always have fun reading this strip! I LOVE YOUR WORK DANA!!!

Some one beat me to the cake reference. Now I want to see what else Marigold can do. Stack odd shaped blocks? fight invading aliens? race in a little go-kart? toss a turtle? cure a virus? the possibilities are endless. Just keep your games age appropriate or we could end up in a mess. a Unicorn acting out Doom or GTA or Mortal Kombat could be a problem.

Marigold can make a Portable Hole? Whoa! She’s every bit as awesome as she says she is!

Oh dear! That’s a wired controller. Hope the gravity unplugs it before it yanks the console through the portal and onto the ground..

I can’t over state how much I love this comic!

I’ve noticed that the colours of the holes directly matched with the colours of the original zzap zzot sound effects, whereupon Marigold then performed her own zzap zzot to manufacture her own portable holes. I like how, for Marigold, that while her zzap zzot-s are white, her eyes and background match the colours of her invoked holes. ::grins::

I also like that, whenever Phoebe decided to play her “I’m superior” card with Marigold (in this instance, it’s the “It’s complicated, so WATCH CLOSELY.”) she always winds up {compliments to her BFF Marigold} being hoisted by her own petard!

this is seriously the best comic in the papers right now. (is it in the newspaper? if it isn’t, it should be)

If science wont give me portals, then at least a unicorn can!

Let’s hope Phoebe doesn’t lose her grip…
