Getting called to jury duty shouldn’t be made out to be a bad thing. The only problem now is the media which will showcase the criminal act and practically convicts a person before they even get to trial. Granted there are cases where it’s open and shut, but it should go to trial for that decision. I can see why police won’t give details of a case.

Jury of your peers indeed — People who didn’t have the smarts to get excused v. people who were dumb enough to do the crime and get caught.
