Mr. Ramirez is a good voice for his candidate. It would take an educated and informed electorate(Eisenhower’s words) to recall the impediments placed in front of this administration as it tried to reach stated goals. The saddest impediment came from Obama’s own party as they used arrogance and bullying instead of cooperation and bipartisanship in the interactions with the Republicans. However, the Norquist conservatives and a right of right social agenda introduced in 2010 made a lie of the Republicans promise they would focus on jobs and deadlocked the legislature more than ever. I hear Reid is promising to treat Romney the same way McConnall treated Obama. This is not the way the most powerful nation in the world should be run. This is not how a great people should let themselves be led. The President can only do so much if Congress is more eager to enrich themselves than to serve their nation.Respectfully,C.

No need to read all of them… the deficit in Massachusetts is a non-issue, the constitution requires a balanced budget. And what about the 844 vetoes, mostly overridden? Romney wasn’t governing in Massachusetts, he was being a really tiny speed bump.

Michael, no matter how you slice it, Romney is a rich guy who will only help other wealthy people. Obama is for 99% — and if those people vote, then Romney is trashed.

As for Ansonia, umm fail also. If you actually look at the tactics of each party. Repubs feed hate and point fingers, they give ideas but no facts or clear direction on how. Also, their stance changes very quickl and cant be counted on. And they also give this false image that everything will be hunky dorky and money grows on trees.

Libs on the other hand, say we have issues and we need to fix them and we need to work together. When the point their figners they don’t do it in hateful manner they then point out detailes on what to do. Unlike the GOP.. they also know as FACT we are no longer a production economy and admit that we ALL are going to have to get our hands dirty and work hard to get out of our mess that the past few President (namely bush and Clinton) created the mess we are in now.

Oh one last thing, GOP wants to bring faith into our politics when in our founding documents “Seperation of Chruch in State”.

OH one last thing.. why would you vote for a person who his past job was to break up companies.. sell them off to foreign investors and cost 1000’s of USA people to lose jobs while he sits in his million dollar home?? OH.. that and treats women as property.

Sorry, all of the ultra conservatives here, including Ramirez, on this site, but candidate Mitt Romney has just conceded that he has lost the election to President Obama. However, those of us moderates, independents and liberals (and yes, some conservatives also) that voted for the president will also try to (at least until attacked by the more ideological ultra conservatives at any rate) be as gracious about winning as candidate Mitt Romney was about losing. He may not have had a losing speech written, but he spoke very well indeed, just as did John McCain in 2008!

Now, can we at least also make some attempt at civility and start to pull together as Americans should in these difficult times??
