More details emerge in the Benghazi consulate debacle...
Speaker: This is Obama security! Intruder, leave the premises now! I said LEAVE THE PREMISES NOW!! Hello?
Beirut- dead Marines, good job, Reagan. 9/11- good job “w”. Afghanistan, Iraq, sure glad nobody got hurt in those total screwups.
These right wing ’toonists, and commentators like the dittoheads and their little tin god, I keep thinking of “Hanoi Hanna”, and the wonders of that “great American”- Tokyo Rose.(yes, she was an American, just as loyal to the Constitution as Rush)
The depths to which the attacks on Obama over this tiny event in actuality, compared to all the errors, lies, flaws, and treasons of “conservative” actions, and responses, and “competence” is beyond disgusting to anyone who’s ever experienced real life, in the real world, of war, disasters, and even “domestic violence”. It’s frankly, beyond sick.
An opinion would be like: I think everyone should vote for President Obama. Mittens will sink the country for his own profit on borrowed money, that’s his business model. The borrowed money will be from the 99% and not repaid either.
Ima: that was Port Authority, and PRIVATE security back at the first WTC bombing, who blew it. That is EXACTLY what MIttens wants to turn everything over to. Would THAT make you feel more comfortable?
btw: The United States EMBASSY in Libya, is in TRIPOLI! The facility in Benghazi was a “consulate”, NOT THE SAME THING, and NOT subject to the same level of security. That’s something the right is ignoring, and an important point. Stevens chose to go to Benghazi, AGAINST THE ADVICE OF THE LIBYANS.
Some of the sleazier “journalistic reporting” are various Fox commentators interviewing Charles Woods, father of slain Seal, Tyrone Woods and squeezing out every bit of political juice as possible. I’ve seen or heard about five interviews, all for the purpose of capitalizing on a grieving father’s sorrow to bash the handling of a military tragedy.
This cartoon reminds me of a conversation I had with my wife last night. New York and other major cities in the North East have not been this vulnerable to terrorism since 2001. A huge section of the city is in the dark. Alarms and security cameras are off line. Police and other people who would normally be looking for terrorist activity are overwhelmed by the storm and unable, or too exhausted, to be as effective as they normally would. Many police and firefighters lost homes in the Breezy Point fire, unable to save home and family while saving neighbors. It makes my eyes burn as I think of it. Benghazi was a tragedy from which we learn to do better. We have had too many chances to learn from terrorists. Romney is likely to have his own “Benghazi moment”. I hope not, but if elected, he is very likely to have to put neighbors in harm’s way. Our nation needs to consider reactivating the Civil Defense Agency and training our people how to respond to natural disasters, terrorist attacks on our people or infrastructure, or even the random shooter who pulls weapons out in crowds and starts shooting. It costs money to educate people, but isn’t it worth it if it makes us better?Respectfully,C.
C downs: it IS an interesting comparison that more people were shot and killed during the “Giffords incident”, and not to mention the Colorado theater shootings, or Columbine, yes, of course all those security lapses were the fault of the President!

Ah yes, flawless logic. Because we have been stupid in the past this gives us an excuse to continue the same stupidity in the future?

Actually, it sounds more like an order, not an opinion.
