Really?REALLY?I’m so offended by the art, i can’t even respond to the comment it’s trying to make. How does this help ANYTHING?It doesn’t elevate the conversation, it ignores so many valid points and it adds the the attitude that make people yell “You Lie” at a President giving the state of the union address.I have already called out artists who have used vulgar depictions of Romney as I am doing here.I challenge the rest of the commentators to honor the office of the Presidency, even if you do not respect the man who holds that office. We deserve better than this, and we are, if we choose, better than this.Respectfully,C.
Dang Harley…Hadn’t seen that one and I have to say…Yes. I find it totally inappropriate and as one article referred to it, creepy. However, I have pointed out attacks on Romney by some of these editiorial cartoonists as vulgar and unhelpful as well. Now you put that image in my head.Make it go away. Please?Take care Harley,Keep a happy face. ;)C.
If folks just realize that electing, or re-electing morons to Congress, like Akin et al on the right, or if Ohio would wake up and get rid of Boehner, a second term would be able to accomplish a lot more to improve conditions in many areas of government. If you really want to see the “failings” of Obama, look at all the things he’s done, or not, to patronize the right-wingers, and yes, corporations.
Obama has published a plan, Romney has not. R has given us five things that he’d like to have happen, but no clue as to how he would do it (other than vastly cutting taxes and vastly increasing spending). The point of a political cartoon is to make a point. Fail.
Romney claimed “the Italian company” that makes Jeeps was going to move production from U.S. to China. Well CHRYSLER that make JEEPS, in AMERICA said no such thing is true. The plan to KEEP making Jeeps in AMERICA, but yes, step up their SALES of Jeeps to China.
Mitt’s magic underwear is turning into a thong woven from poison oak. (and he likes it!)
Isn’t government supposed to not hide anything? I’m trying to figure out what metaphor Ramirez is trying to make. I get the feeling that he draws in his own little world.
The same way I showed respect to the office of a President that I felt lied about Iraq, tho I now believe his advisors lied to him. I also believe you may be wrong in your assumption this administration deliberately lied about Benghazi for political, rather than military, reasons…I don’t think he lied. I don’t KNOW anything except that its a very dangerous planet, and bad things are going to happen to good people. Whether its hand grenades thrown on the floor of an European airport, like the event during the Reagan administration that killed at least two Americans, or someone shattering an airplane window at 30k feet over the Atlantic, as could happen today, something is going to happen. We need to be ready to be a United people in order to address it properly, no matter who the President might be.Respectfully,C.
I most certainly have the right to be offended, and the free speech right to address that which offends me. I do NOT however, have the right to order the artist to withdraw his submission. Nor to order you to quit stating your sometimes offensive opinions. And swr, I LOVE art museums where I find things I like and dislike. Also, I think I’m more of a bleeding heart than a pearl clutching heart. Not real impressed with pearls. Emeralds, jade, garnets, lapis lazulis….those are cool, but pearls just don’t leap out at me.In which America do you live where you can remove my right to be offended? Annoyed and curious,C.
Another uninformed post. GM is a drain. Compare them to Ford (who took no money). Look into o’s sentiments on what he wanted to do with bin laden. You won’t be so glib after some research.

Since you support o, ask yourself the same question of his plan. The answer is a resounding no.

Obama’s economic plan is to keep encouraging the slow-but-steady improvement that’s carried on throughout his first term. A Good Cartoon.
