There are 36 THOUSAND “Christian sects” in the U.S..Well, without a plane, there was the Murrah building, and numerous attacks on mosques and synagogues over the years. From Jim Jones, to whackos in Waco, kids haven’t been safe in a lot of “good Christian groups”. Then there’s the gentle persuasion of the Inquisition for a few centuries of torture, and murder.
Sorry, but it IS appropriate to compare the nut cases in the Taliban to nut cases in many other “faiths”, certainly not just Christian, but let’s not spend so much time avoiding the historical obvious, either.
obviously no one remembers the Inquistions in Spain or the salem witch trials or the Nazis and the holocaust. There are still Christians around that espouse all three and would bring them back when they get power, that is thier promise

My problem with this “binder” business is that everyone ignores the lies that prefaced the statement. Romney said he reached out to women’s groups for appropriate women, when the fact is the binder full of resumes was presented to him by a group that had prepared them for the new governor, whoever was elected. His revisions of the facts, once again, are more important than his gaffe.
Hopefully no one does the Islamic penalty for that girl.
