forgetting coupons or paying for extra items…. take it up with customer service, don’t hold up the line. We often use the self-checkout and don’t usually have this many problems. In the regular lanes, customers will argue about a price, say the cashier rung it up wrong or something. Usually in the self-checkout it is the machine that goes whacked.
I rarely use self-checkout. About once a year do I have just a couple of items, the regular lines are very long, and a self-checkout line is very short.The self-checkout stataions are very popular at the Wal-marts in my area, though.
