One of my cats used to do this when she was a kitten. Climb up there and curl up in a ball, forcing me to have to raise the shoulder a little and walk slowly. Then when she got older she’d proceed to sit down and just balance there, looking like a cat on a pirate’s shoulder instead of a pirate. Always made me feel like I needed an eye patch and a peg leg.
