Mr. Rall:To quote Will Rogers, “if you know of a better place, they’ll sell you a ticket.” Maybe it’s time you stopped sitting on the sidelines and actually did something constructive.
More evidence that Ted is totally unhinged. Neither Goerring or Goebbels ran for public office.
The Green Party gets little publicity because they accomplish little — they’d rather play presidential politics than work for a goal they could reach, like putting people into the House. Vermonters made Bernie Sanders a mayor before he became a Senator, but the dreamers want to start at the top. Yeah, well, that’s not how it works. Never has, never will.
You disappoint me Ted. Voter apathy is part of the reason we have such lack luster candidates. If you don’t like the candidates from the two main parties, you still a write in option and possibly third party candidates. The election isn’t just about the Presidential race. There are other races in which I actually want to vote for a candidate instead of against a rival. I’m not forgoing my right to vote just because I don’t like the two main choices in one race.
Everytime I read the comments on one of these cartoons, I am amazed at how much hate and lack of understanding there is. @Ted Rall good job today. I get it! Very funny. Too bad most of the commenters seem to miss the point of the cartoon. Why do they come back day after day? Do they enjoy bashing it?
I agree with both Ted Rall and Jim Morin’s strips today. I think a lot of voters, myself included, are undecided because we dislike both candidates. I am looking for record low voter turn-out next month.
It’s hilarious when the collective mind is shown that their party is not the polar opposite of the other. The above cartoon is in many ways true, and the collective mind cannot tolerate knowing that a guy who skewered Bush2 is also skewering THE ONE. Ted Rall is risking his identity on the “left” with such blasphemy.
It’s sort of an obvious critique of lesser-evillism, but the fact is, your single vote has an infinitesimal, that is, zero chance of changing the outcome of the election. So vote for whomever you like. It’s good to keep the custom of voting alive, though; someday it might come to mean something.
I can get really mad at the Democrats, and I’m always mad at the Republicans, but I don’t think either party quite qualifies as Nazis. They have their own forms of evil, and they don’t need to imitate the evils of a different time and circumstance.

No matter who they vote for the NAZI party still wins. The lesser of two evils is still evil.

So, now it’s Nazi comparisons? Sheesh, I don’t think even Romney deserves that.

And, it trivializes the horror that was the Nazi regime. But, if you wanted to be clever about it, it should be Goebbels versus Gorky.
