    Hmm. One can tell it’s an older the strip is by their ‘box’ monitors. And the backs of their chairs are a different style. I hadn’t noticed the change over the longer time of reading the strip day to day. Just like I hate seeing younger pictures of me.

    I’m only seeing this online (my local paper doesn’t carry “Lila”, dagnabbit) and there’s no reference to “classic” or reprints. I kind of wondered why Lila, mom to Annie, is going on so about not wanting children.

    I am new to this comic so have no history about it. But when I read it my first thought was “that’s a man for you”. I went through many hassles by many people about my non-desire for children.

    speedcat: We can tell you are new to the strip. There are only a few states that will let him marry one of his choice.
