I don’t think even the late night comedians want Romney.

If he were elected, I expect Romney will:Remove the modest restrictions we put on Wall Street after the meltdown in 2007-2008.Shift a large portion of the tax burden from the wealthy to the middle class.Turn Medicare into a voucher that will not be anywhere near enough to meet my health care needs when I retire.Spend a whole lot of money on big military projects that are not useful in fighting global terrorism.Force the Fed to stop it’s efforts to boost employment in favor of preventing non-existent inflation.Extend our futile military occupations in the Middle East.Kow-tow to a Republican Congress that has no interest in actually reducing the deficit. Support companies that want to increase profits by sending jobs overseas.Give oil and natural gas companies a green light to drill wherever they want with little oversight on safety or environmental impact.

In order for Romney to be able to give the 1% their tax bracket of .1% to1% rates, he will have to tax the middle class at $2,000 a year. He said that on day 1 in office he would bomb Kabul. He doesn’t have any tact and would end up insulting all our allies and making our enemies attack. He ruined lots of people as a vulture capitalist,He has disdain for half of Americans. That figure is very shakey. 50% of the people who don’t pay income tax are ineligible to pay because their wages are below the level of the their standard deduction. another 25% are low income-working families with kids who also are not eligible for the same reason and most of the rest are old and have Paid into Social security and Medicare. It is possible that since Mitt has been groomed from childhood to be THE Mormon president, (see the white horse prophecy) that he could establish a Mormon theocracy. He says different things to different people he talks too. What are You afraid of that Obama will do? Turn into a werewolf? pamper the crippled? feed the poor, take care of widows and orphans, welcome the strangers? I don’t think a Catholic would be against anything but abortions, and that is iffy. I don’t think a child molested by her father/brother/ uncle, should have to bear his child. Their are reasons to have laws against marrying close relatives and if she is under 14 she hasn’t finished growing her own self. But partial birth? NO Way. and some pundit has probably said the it is what Obama wants but it’s not.

Orthodox Catholic- things can always get worse. He could start a war with Iran without cause and decide not to pay for it but instead leave it for whomever comes after him. He would shift taxes away from the wealthy. Unlike JohnLofton I don’t think he’ll shift the burden to the middle class- I think he just won’t pay for it. He will certainly remove any restrictions on Wall St short of contract murder. He’ll need to think about giving them that one too….for a good long time….but eventually he’ll decide that its “just the right amount of regulation.”

Romney plans a Reagan-type tax reform….1. Lower rates for the income brackets2. Less adjustment of income for the high earners…fewer deductions and fewer exemptions. This is a tax hike when 1040s are filed for larger AJIs.3. Congress must pass all changes; Romney will work with congress to design a rate system that will be progressive butnot so vast a difference between middle and high income earners; and still encourage investments and business expansion so that new jobs will be created as in the 1980s.-Dr.Canuck just posted Lie #1= Romney did not promise a tax cut in dollars owed to the “rich”….Lie #2= Romney did not promise to raise taxes on the middle class…and Obama is currently speaking in possibility of "US will do what is necessary to prevent Iran getting the “bomb”!

I want to hear what he thinks is good about Willard — other than some variation of he’s better than Obama.

You’ll have to excuse Orthodox Catholic. Catholics are accustomed to letting other people tell them what to think and do. Orthodox doubly so.
