Dill’s comment is the best!

Okay, I liked the newer strips (I’d never seen these older ones) but now I see why it was SO well recieved right from the get go. These are much better even if the art is messier.

And I have to say, I applaud Mr. Thompson for stopping the strip even if it was “good enough” if part of the deteroation in the humor was due to his health issues preventing him from being as engaged.

Her target in panel #2 is quite telling.

One Alice head is more than enough.

I don’t know which part of today’s strip is the best! So much funny!

Alice’s mom must have read her “The Road to Oz”. In that book, the ‘Scoodlers’ threw their heads when the were mad at someone. It was terrifying to me when I read it as a small child.

Every so often, I wish I could take my feet off, and give them a nice pedicure, just the way I want. Then put them back on.

These early strips are awesome.

Their immediate grasp of the potential consequences of Alice’s wish provides insight into the often underestimated intelligence and insight of kindergartners. Also let me say I found this immensely hilarious. The buzz from this should last all day.
