Great ‘toon, and so true. That’s how you can tell that the radical rich don’t see the middle class in their future - they do not want to pay to educate the next generation.
Imagine how nice the world would be if we “threw money” at teachers with the same lack of rage that we throw money at cable TV, unnecessarily large motor vehicles, sports paraphernalia, alcohol, etc.
No one wants to cut the pay. What we want is capable teachers that teach sex ed with out the showing. We also want the the benefits to be normal not 80% of thier pay for retirement .

Perhaps if we throw more money at teachers, we’ll be more hesitant to throw their pupils to war.

Pay teachers, you may get better teachers. Or you get teachers who can afford to continue their education.
