   Women didn’t shave their legs until nylons came along. I have a book of nudes (from the 1920s and ‘30s) by Edward Weston, and the legs look like the lady’s in this cartoon.

   This conversation would never have happened in my bedroom – I loved my late hubby’s beard & stache – he used conditioner on them to keep them soft and ‘user friendly’ – and he preferred body hair on women ;-)
