I can’t believe I’m the first to say this, but…

Birds are food! Mice are food! What would cats eat if there were no humans with can openers. And, surprise, chickens are birds too.

First off, I’d like to know who’s been out there counting all the birds cats have supposedly killed.
    -
Second thing – who are we to talk? how many millions of chickens and ducks and gooses (I know, I know, “geese”) and turkeys do we kill and eat on an annual basis.
    -
    birds iz food.

The same report pointed out that most feline kills are done not by well fed house cats, but by feral cats. The same report also question what would the pest population would be like without the presence of hunter cats.
