   This isn’t as funny as one would expect, my credit card company will actually decline transactions and then try to call me in 30 minutes to make sure they were legit, if they were they’ll then tell me to try again.

   Its part of their enhanced security features, if patterns are different, such as Christmas shopping spending more than normal or multiple transactions at the same vendor. Say getting gas out front then going into shop.

   It isn’t that it is maxed out by any means just them trying to help protect us.

   It is always my favorite to get a call 30 minutes later after I’ve used a different payment method and then to be told “its been approved now go ahead and have them run it again” as if I am just standing around holding up a line for 30 mins or so.

   Now this would be funny doing tech support if we could do that to someone who just won’t listen and then complain nothing works.
