   Unfunny and uninformed. The Medic Alert system provides ER doctors with life-saving information when the patient can’t communicate. LifeAlert made that phrase popular.

   Excellent comment, O invisible friend! You raise two good points: 1. Every day’s cartoon will be insulting, boring, or otherwise not funny to someone, and 2. The cartoonist may have goofed – give him a break, ‘cause he’s human and therefore not perfect. On the good side, he just gave MedicAlert, and through your comment, LifeAlert, some free advertising, and raised awareness of two very useful products. Two wins in one day! :)
