    This strip begs for a cynical remark, but I’ll save it to my personal archive.

    @rnmontgomery

    I have an archive of comic strips that totals over 300,000

    I filed it by topic rather than title and for the last year I’ve been working on an index

    One thing I’ve found is that the same essential gag can appear in a topic as many as a dozen times (or more)

    Plagiarism is stealing another persons idea and presenting it as your own

    It might happen occasionally but for the most part I suspect it is coincidence

    It’s the car insurance salesman. He needed a place to crash!

    Any idea what that other comic strip was? I relish in finding McPherson’s stumbles.

    The boarder had the bottom bunk. He must be paying a premium rate.
