Apparently, the only time it is alright to be angry at the police is when they are enforcing laws that effect white ranchers, white militia members, or stopping one of ‘us’ commentators for a traffic violation. It’s also apparently ok to criticize them for being over paid, over equipped, and generally costing our cities and towns too much for their services and compensations. There are a few, very few, bad apples in the police departments of our nation, however, the real problem is within the offices of the Mayors, Managers, City/town councils, and within the Capital building of the legislature of the US gov’t. It is within the boundaries of politics that the divisive attitudes and money managing are used to divide Americans against each other and to create unbalanced policies that make the jobs of police more difficult as an increasingly more desperate populace sees crime as the only way to advance in a country that lacks jobs, education, training, and opportunity. The deaths of three innocent law enforcement officers is a tragedy that diminishes all of us and gives power to the bullies in law enforcement to justify their violence. My prayers and tears go out to the families of these men.Respectfully,C.
