Meanwhile, every prominent conservative made a trip to Indianapolis to cheer on the Pacers remind us that there are terrorists, rapists & haters around every corner.

Which of you conservatives accused liberals of being fearful again?

When Kerry lied that he had irrefutable proof of the crimes of the Syrian government that were forcing the US to decapitate Syria and hand the pieces over to the UK/France/Saudis, one must respect him for trying to do the right thing.

But when he suggests that, if Israel doesn’t make a few, minor concessions it might possibly be perceived as an Apartheid country, he must be fired immediately.

Anyone should be able to see this clearly, but the Republicans seem to have better eyesight than most. (After all, it was the Republicans who first saw that nuclear arsenal that Saddam was within hours of assembling, and a Republican who sent in US troops just in the nick of time BEFORE Saddam had managed to receive any of the components of those bombs that he’d ordered, components that, had Bush, jr waited until our soldiers had protective armour, Saddam would have received, assembled, and launched at the US.)

Too bad the UN disarmed Saddam of his nuclear, chemical and biological ambitions. All of that sold to him with the help of the US.

When speaking in English just wish you guys would actually use the correct Afrikaans pronunciation of the word apartheid. It’s not ‘apart-hide’ but ‘aparrr-t-hate
You miss a trick when you do not mention the ‘hate’.

Let’s see, a large occupied state of people, based on ethnicity, is not allowed to vote for the government that rules their daily lives. They are kept in special areas by large fences. They are susceptible to having their land and property confiscated, and subject to checkpoints every few miles making it almost impossible to travel or get to hospitals. What is YOUR definition of Apartheid?

“Remembering the Nakba: Israeli group puts 1948 Palestine back on the map”

" ‘Zochrot’ aims to educate Israeli Jews – through tours and a new phone app – about a history obscured by enmity and denial"

Many years ago I met a few Israelis in Israel that made me think things would eventually work out. They had reminded me of some folks from back home. At times I’ve been optimistic, then pessimistic as the 2nd Intifada started. ‘Zochrot’, like ‘Breaking the Silence’ brings out the optimist in me.

Until both sides recognise what was done to the other, there won’t be peace.

From a link contained within Zochrot’s website, it reprinted an article that had been printed on a South African website: - JWTC – Johannesburg Workshop in Theory & Criticism

“Apartheid: A Double -Crossing” – Louise Bethlehem.

“Israel/Palestine: Apartheid of a special type?” – Ran Greenstein.
