Comparing an hourly wage employee to a slave is just wrong. First a slave isn’t free to leave, second management isn’t free to beat them, physically anyway, into submission, and third…oh who am I kidding? Same dern thing.

I hung on to full-time work until I was 65 despite increasing physical problems because of the (affordable) health care through the job. I wonder of many of those jobs “lost” are by people like me.

As they said (or better: wrote) in the old Batman TV episodes: “BLAM!” – “POW!” – “KER-BLOWIE!”. That was a mean swing and I love it! The phrase “LOL” is used to often these days, but with this cartoon I really couldn’t help it. Well done, Clay, well done…

Ah yes, millions of people are going to leave those hated jobs since NOW they can afford the premium for their health insurance because TAXPAYERS (or those who have jobs and don’t leave) will be kicking in for them.

Of course, I know that every one of them will now be able to take that 200 bucks a month they save (get from the taxpayers) and open a new business or fund education or perhaps create great works of art. All while either NOT having any other means of support other than welfare/food stamps/ medicaid compliments of the TAXPAYER.

Yep akin to FREEDOM for TYRANNY and SLAVERY don’cha know.

Slaves could have chosen to continue working for free for heir owners. A choice is a choice.
See Tigger’s comment below to understand why this is a fair comparison. Some folks take information and read anyway they want despite the evidence in front of them.

Fox Noise is NEVER going to do a promising story on Mr. Bennett.

How can you possibly be happy with this comparison? Here, read about the end of slavery in the US. And remember, my brother, every single ethnic group in the world has been held as slaves in the past. Slavery is no joking matter and no one should make light of it by comparing it to the results of a well intentioned but bad piece of legislation turned law.

The above reference is to a slaves financial condition after being proclaimed “free”.
