    I just don’t believe Lance Armstrong doped. The French hated him so much that they would have found any drugs he used. Not to mention the literally hundreds of drug tests he took over his career.

    Don’t worry. Not only is Lance himself denying this, his Lawyer is demanding evidence from the government agency that banned him.

    This is one of those times when you just have to wait & watch to see if things go well for Lance or if they swing the other way.

    Erythropoetin use can be hidden, if used selectively. However, if your hematocrit rises too high, you will be found out or you might just die of a stroke if you get dehydrated and "sludge up ". I’ve liked Lance and hope it isn’t true but some very reasonable members of his own riding team have said he cheated.

    George Hincape isn’t someone I would expect to lie as he is as bound up in Lance Armstrong’s wins as anyone. He has said Lance cheated. I cheered for Lance in all 7 races. I hope it is not true.

    Cancer survivor makes good. Some of the early “doping” controversy revolved around that. Pure stupidity on the part of the “rule makers” only adds to the idiocy, and difficulty in “sports medicine”. Blood transfusion in now disqualifying, but guess what folks, it ain’t illegal. Frankly, if it ain’t illegal, they should ignore it, just like “amateur” is the most ridiculous fraud going in athletics.

    One does grow weary of constant accusations without evidence. Now where else have i seen this….?

    The definition of doping keeps changing with the new chemicals that have been invented.

    @THEVIC IOUSDOUG MARTIG

    Persistant persecution, especially if you are innocent, can get very old very fast. There should be a limit on how many times a person can be accused of the same offense (it isn’t even a ‘crime’), be judged innocent and have to face another accusation. Enough already!

    Just catching up on my reading and I couldn’t let this pass:

    TROUT (6/6): “Harry Reid btw IS from Nevada, and far more “Republican” than “Democrat” in his functional leanings.”

    Thanks, TROUT. It’s comedy like this that keeps me coming back to GoComics.

    Wow, I got directed here for some reason.
    And the comments now look quite, umm, misguided.
